Tumblr user Anonymous asked:

What do Ottaburas eat? Are they herbivores/ omnivores/ carnevores?

Sundown Squad Replied:

Ottaburas are omnivores! In the wild, Ottas eat an assortment of fish and shellfish as well as use their highly sensitive whiskers to scour river beds for lush plants and tubers.

Domestic Ottas will often be fed a mixed diet of fresh or frozen fish/shellfish and a dried plant mix. However, they can also be fed a standard kibble diet if substantial fresh food is harder to come by or store properly.

The kibble unfortunately doesn’t smell much better than regular fish, though.
